The Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society will hold its annual “Dance for a Cure” fundraiser to benefit THON on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Events Center at Shepherds Hill Golf Club in Wescosville. This is the first in-person event since 2020.
Penn State Lehigh Valley students looking to develop or display their musical talents will now have the on-campus resources they need thanks to music room enhancements made possible with funds raised during GivingTuesday on Nov. 29.
Case competitions are a way for students to apply what they are learning in the classroom to solve real-world problems. On Nov. 13, the team of Sabiha Kermalli and Huda Khan won first place in the Engineering Consulting Collaborative Case Competition held at University Park.
A new mobile Penn State id+ card is anticipated to launch in January 2023, allowing students to use their mobile devices to conveniently, safely and securely access campus housing facilities, purchase meals, and more.
Penn State Global may be based at University Park but the group impacts students and alumni from all points around the world. As of Oct. 24, the office has a new Global Engagement Coordinator who happens to be an alumna of Penn State Lehigh Valley. Rachel DeMesa’s love of cultures and languages will make her a valuable resource for international students.
Penn State students, faculty and staff with older versions of the id+ card are being asked to submit new photos ahead of re-carding events that will be held University-wide during the spring 2023 semester. There are multiple ways to submit a photo, and photos will be accepted from Nov. 7 through Nov. 23.
